A beautiful Peggy-O solo from arguably the single best tour for Peggy-O as a Garcia solo vehicle. This one features three choruses.
The first chorus, especially, has some beautiful melodic lines that are well worth exploring. The second chorus goes down low and gets a little twangy and the third chorus has some really nice arpeggio based lines and finishes with a bang. Great stuff from the master.
A disclaimer on this one: at times it was difficult to tease out Garcia’s guitar from Weir’s guitar, I can’t promise that a few of Weir’s notes didn’t make it into the transcription!
